Analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, organic optoelectronic materials, chemical sensors, biosensors.

1. Portable liquid crystal-based sensor for detecting environmental hazards, including development of sensing mechanism, synthesis of molecular probe, design of optical sensing device.

2. Design and synthesis of organic molecules for optoelectronic applications, ex: organic light-emitting diodes and organic photovoltaics, dye-sensitized solar cells and perovskite solar cells
