Research Area and Expertise：
This Lab. focus on the chemical reactions of azulene derivatives including electrophilic, nucleophilic and oxidation reactions. Especially, the study on the convenient synthesis of azulenequinone derivatives in a high yield and photochemical reaction of various diazoquinones for the synthesis of cyclic azulene poly ethers. Synthesis of conducting materials including azulene moiety.
